Starting Sunday, July 2nd, we will have ONE Sunday service OUTSIDE at 10am!
As you may have heard, we started summer renovations in our sanctuary and the construction will continue for the next nine weeks! During this time, we will move our services outdoors in our very own Grace City backyard! We have been blessed with 5 acres of land and plenty of space to have our service outside at 10am for all of July & August.
Important details for our outdoor summer services:
Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket to sit on for the service
Location: The service will take place in the field on the south side of our building (refer to "10am Sunday Service" circle in the picture below).
Footwear: The grass is "rough" and we recommend wearing comfy shoes that you don't mind getting dirty!
There will be two large white tents set up for those who need some shade during the service as well as some umbrellas available. Feel free to bring sunglasses or your own umbrella, since we’ll be staring into the sun for part of the service.
Rain or shine: The entire service will not be in the shade or covered and we will have our service rain or shine! Please plan and dress accordingly.
Kids: KidCity classes (nursery to 5th grade) will remain in their normal classrooms inside the church building.
Youth: Middle school & high school students will join the adults in the service outdoors. Middle and high schoolers will sit together in the back left (closest corner to the gravel horseshoe pits).
Restrooms: Will still be available from the main lobby inside the church building
Parking: Additional parking will be available in the field on our property (refer to the "P" outlined in the picture below to show our additional parking). Since we will be at one service, our parking lot will fill up fast! If you call Grace City home, we ask you to please consider parking in the field in order to bless our guests by saving the convenient parking lot spaces for them!
Our regular livestream service will be unavailable for the summer: Due to streaming limitations while outside, we are unable to offer the livestream of our 10am service. However, the service will be recorded and made available online here within 24hrs.
