Thursday Holy Week Prayer

What is Holy Week?

Holy Week marks the most somber yet profoundly meaningful period in the Christian calendar. It leads up to the triumphant celebration of Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday. At the heart of the Gospel are the events of this week: Jesus’s entry into Jerusalem for the Passover festival, His arrest, trial, crucifixion, and resurrection.

Holy Week invites us to pause and reflect on who Jesus is, what He accomplished, and the life-changing implications for us. We get to mourn the price He paid for our sins and selfishness, while also celebrating His victory over Satan, death, hell, fear, and everything that stands in the way of a reconciled relationship with God. This is good news that never gets old!

This year, we invite you to join us for corporate times of prayer on Monday and Thursday of Holy Week from 6pm to 6:30pm.

Let’s come together as a church family to seek the Lord in prayer as we prepare our hearts for Resurrection Sunday!
